As a pilot, logging your flights is an important task that helps you track your progress and maintain your certification. However, manually entering all the necessary flight information can be time-consuming and prone to errors. That's why we introduced a new feature that allows you to import data from your OFP to preload your flight information.
Here's how to use the OFP import feature:
After creating a new flight on your device, tap the OFP button located in the top-left corner of the screen.
Select the PDF file of your OFP that you wish to import. You can choose a file from your device's local storage or from a cloud storage service.
Wader Pilot Logbook will then automatically extract the necessary flight information from your OFP and fill in the corresponding fields in the app. This includes details such as your flight number, departure and arrival airports, and aircraft type and tail-number.
Additionally, the app will also import the alternate airports listed in your OFP and load the latest weather data for all of them. This allows you to easily access important weather information for your planned route.
By using the OFP import feature in Wader Pilot Logbook, you can save time and ensure accuracy when logging your flights. This feature streamlines the process and eliminates the risk of manual entry errors, making it a valuable addition to your flight logging routine.
So, next time you're preparing to log a flight, remember to take advantage of this helpful feature and simplify your flight logging process.
If your OFP format is not working, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at help@waderaviation.com. We would be happy to work on that.
If you haven't tried Wader Pilot Logbook yet, stop wasting time and download it now.
Happy landings and keep safe!
