Wader Wallet – Your New Companion for Document Management

How do you control your documents?

As pilots, we understand the critical importance of keeping all our personal documentation up to date. Alongside aviation-related paperwork such as licenses and certificates, pilots must ensure that a myriad of other documents, including passports and visas, are also maintained valid.

Managing all this documentation can be challenging, especially considering the varying expiry dates, not to mention the bureaucracy and processing queues involved in renewal processes.

Airline pilots usually receive assistance in renewing documents required for their flying activities. It's common for airline companies to notify pilots in advance and even include renewal activities on flight schedules, such as medical tests and proficiency checkrides.

However, it's worth emphasizing that the responsibility for keeping personal documentation up to date lies with the pilot.

Flying with expired licenses or outdated documentation can cause severe consequences. From regulatory fines to potential grounding, the simple fact of having a passport with less than six months of validity may prevent you from attending training in another country.

A great tip is to maintain all your documents centralized in a single management control, in a place that you access frequently.

Thinking of that, we developed a new feature: the Wader Wallet.

The Wallet was designed specifically to help you take control of your personal and professional documentation and easily monitor all expiry dates.

Now you can keep control of your licenses, certificates, travel documents, and any other personal paper you wish, all in one place, safely synced in the app’s cloud, without spending a dime!

To access the new tool, simply go to the Dashboard and select the Wallet tab.

Click on “+ Add new document” and choose a document type. Fill in the required information, including the expiry date if applicable, click "Save" and you're all set!

Each document will be displayed on a card colored according to its category, making it easy to identify in your Wallet.

Update your Wader App today in your app store and rest assured, knowing that all your document expirations will be monitored and easily accessible alongside your logbook.
